There are times when the pot of objectives has run dry. You sit or stand wondering just what is it you should do next. And sometimes the mind is like a void, and nothing comes to mind. But fear not thoughtless wanderer, here are some things to do when there is nothing to do!
See how far you can count aloud without stumbling on a number. Finding a nearby clock and counting to each second adds an extra layer of depth to proceedings.
See how quickly you can undress then redress. Doing this in a private place is preferable, but a public space can add a level of intensity, and we all need a little of that now and then.
Make a list of all the things you want to do but will never accomplish. It allows your mind to enter a realist state when thoughts and objectives return.
Drill holes in your head. Be a bowling bowl.
Imagine how to kill each person you pass. Be as brutal as possible, the imagination is a wondrous thing. If you aren’t passing anyone, think of how you can off yourself.
Then do it.
